WE Connect Dubai event with Sarah Jones speaking to women entrepreneurs about business growth and corporate partnerships

WE Connect Dubai Hosts Sarah Jones for Insightful Discussion on Scaling, Pricing, and Corporate Growth

Apr 09, 2026

WE Global Network hosted its latest WE Connect Dubai session on April 8, 2026, featuring Sarah Jones, CEO & Co-Founder of RAYNE, as the guest speaker for an engaging and insight-driven discussion with the community.

The session brought together 40+ women entrepreneurs and business owners, who attended despite the ongoing regional uncertainties—reflecting the community’s commitment to learning, connection, and business growth.

A Conversation Focused on Real Business Challenges

The session was structured as an interactive panel discussion, followed by audience Q&A, covering key areas relevant to founders and business owners today.

A major part of the conversation focused on the transition from B2C to B2B business models, drawing from Sarah’s journey from building Sprii, an e-commerce platform, to leading RAYNE, a business that works closely with corporates and government entities.

The discussion explored the differences between scaling consumer-driven businesses versus service-based corporate models, and what founders should consider when expanding or shifting between these approaches.

Pricing and Value Positioning

The session also addressed pricing challenges faced by SMEs, particularly the tendency to underprice services. The conversation emphasized the importance of confidence, positioning, and clearly communicating value—especially when working with larger organizations.

Entering Corporate and Government Ecosystems

Aligned with WE Global Network’s mission, a significant part of the discussion focused on how SMEs can begin working with corporates and government entities.

Key insights included:

  • Building credibility before outreach
  • Understanding what large organizations look for in service providers
  • The importance of consistency, structure, and reliability
  • Realistic timelines and expectations when entering these ecosystems

Strong Turnout and Community Participation

The event saw participation from over 40 women entrepreneurs, demonstrating strong engagement from the community even during a period of regional uncertainty.

Adding to the experience, six business owners showcased their brands through dedicated display stalls, creating additional visibility and opportunities for collaboration within the room.

Participating Display Stalls:

Networking and Meaningful Connections

The session concluded with open networking, where members engaged in deeper conversations, explored collaborations, and strengthened relationships within the community.

As with previous WE Connect Dubai sessions, the focus remained on meaningful, high-quality interactions rather than transactional networking—creating space for genuine connections and long-term opportunities.

The session received strong positive feedback from attendees, highlighting the relevance of the topics and the practical insights shared.
