WE Global Network Hosts Micro Business Day in Dubai

Oct 15, 2026

WE Global Network's Micro Business Day brought SME owners together in Dubai for business networking, product showcases and an interactive breast cancer awareness session.

Dubai, UAE – 14 October 2026: WE Global Network hosted Micro Business Day, a special edition of WE Connect Dubai, at Al Mankhool Library, bringing together micro-business owners, entrepreneurs and SME representatives for a morning of networking, business visibility and community engagement.

Held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the free-entry event provided a platform for entrepreneurs to introduce their businesses, exchange ideas, explore collaborations and connect with fellow business owners.

The gathering also marked an important step in WE Global Network's evolving membership direction, with a renewed focus on creating structured opportunities for micro-businesses and SMEs at different stages of growth.

Creating Opportunities for Micro-Business Owners in Dubai

For many micro-business owners, one of the biggest challenges is gaining visibility beyond their existing customer base.

While digital marketing and social media remain important, face-to-face interactions offer opportunities to build relationships, receive immediate feedback and introduce businesses to potential customers and collaborators.

Micro Business Day was organised around this principle.

Through WE Connect Dubai, participants had the opportunity to meet entrepreneurs from different business backgrounds, learn about their offerings and explore connections that could support future business growth.

Rather than focusing solely on immediate sales, the event encouraged participants to recognise the wider value of business networking, including referrals, partnerships, supplier relationships and knowledge-sharing.

For entrepreneurs looking to make better use of networking opportunities, understanding the different business connections founders should build beyond finding clients can help turn conversations into longer-term opportunities.

Business Display Stalls Put Entrepreneurs in the Spotlight

One of the event's highlights was the presence of business display stalls, where participating entrepreneurs showcased their products and offerings.

These displays added a practical dimension to the networking experience, allowing visitors to discover businesses, interact with their founders and learn more about the products and services available within the entrepreneurial community.

For micro-business owners, such opportunities can serve several purposes beyond direct sales.

They can help businesses introduce their brands to new audiences, receive product feedback, build customer relationships and identify potential collaborations.

The stalls also created additional opportunities for conversations between visitors and participating entrepreneurs.

For entrepreneurs considering similar opportunities, understanding how to prepare for business exhibitions and make the most of pop-up stalls in the UAE can help them approach these events as both sales and marketing opportunities.

Event Hosted by Pavithra Celine Trinidad

The Micro Business Day gathering was hosted by Pavithra Celine Trinidad, Founder of Enrich Ventures Dubai and WE Global Member.

As the event host, Pavithra was part of the WE Connect Dubai programme that brought entrepreneurs together for networking, business introductions and community engagement.

The involvement of business founders in hosting and participating in WE Global events also reflects the network's emphasis on creating opportunities for entrepreneurs to contribute actively to its business community.

Her Health, Her Questions: An Interactive Breast Cancer Awareness Q&A

Alongside the business networking activities, Micro Business Day featured a special interactive session titled "Her Health, Her Questions", organised in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The discussion brought together two women professionals:

Dr Rajul Matkar – Speaker

Founder of Reset by Dr. Rajul and Specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist.

Rhea Gopal – Moderator

Founder of Movementerra by Rhea Gopal & French with Rhea.

The interactive Q&A created space for conversations around women's health and breast cancer awareness, giving attendees an opportunity to engage with the topic through a question-and-answer format.

By including this session within a business networking event, WE Global Network brought attention to an important subject affecting women's lives beyond their professional responsibilities.

The session reflected the value of creating spaces where women entrepreneurs can participate in conversations about both business development and personal wellbeing.

Networking Beyond Business Cards

The event also provided an opportunity for entrepreneurs to connect directly with other business owners.

For early-stage founders and micro-businesses, these interactions can be particularly valuable.

A conversation with another entrepreneur may lead to a referral. Meeting a complementary service provider may open the door to a collaboration. Discovering a supplier or business partner may help address an operational challenge.

These opportunities do not always result in immediate transactions, but they can contribute to longer-term business relationships.

Through WE Connect Dubai, WE Global Network continues to encourage entrepreneurs to approach networking as a way to build meaningful professional connections rather than simply exchange contact details.

Introducing a More Structured Membership Journey for Micro-Businesses

Micro Business Day also formed part of WE Global Network's evolving membership direction, with a renewed focus on providing relevant networking environments for entrepreneurs at different stages of business growth.

The network's membership structure is organised around three principal formats:

Micro & SME Connect

Designed to help micro-business owners, solo entrepreneurs and early-stage founders build visibility, confidence and meaningful business relationships.

Through wider networking opportunities, entrepreneurs can meet fellow business owners, explore collaborations and gradually expand their professional networks.

WE Boardroom Connect

Focused on creating opportunities for established SME owners to engage in curated conversations with experienced business and corporate leaders.

These sessions encourage discussions around corporate procurement, leadership, business growth and building stronger relationships between SMEs and larger organisations.

A previous WE Boardroom session with Praveen Pai brought SME owners together for conversations around leadership, team management and understanding how smaller businesses can approach the corporate sector.

She Builds

An industry-focused networking format bringing together women from related sectors to build professional relationships, exchange knowledge and explore opportunities for collaboration.

A recent Women in Construction – She Builds Brunch in Dubai highlighted the value of bringing industry professionals together for focused conversations around leadership, business challenges and professional connections.

Finding the Right Membership for Your Business

With the introduction of structured membership tiers, WE Global Network aims to help entrepreneurs find the right business environment based on their stage of growth, industry and networking objectives.

Whether you're a micro-business owner looking to build your first meaningful connections or an established SME seeking corporate and industry-specific opportunities, explore the WE Global Network membership options to find the right fit for your business.

Building a Stronger Business Community in the UAE

The UAE continues to offer opportunities for entrepreneurs across industries, but building a business also requires access to relevant relationships, information and professional support.

Events such as Micro Business Day provide opportunities for business owners to step outside their daily operations, introduce their businesses and engage with others who may be facing similar challenges or exploring complementary opportunities.

By combining networking, business showcases and an awareness-focused discussion, the event brought different dimensions of entrepreneurship and community engagement into one gathering.

For WE Global Network, the objective extends beyond organising individual events.

It is about creating a business ecosystem where entrepreneurs can build relationships over time, discover relevant opportunities and access conversations that support their professional development.

What's Next for WE Global Network?

Following Micro Business Day, WE Global Network will continue developing its networking and membership formats to support women entrepreneurs and SME owners at different stages of their business journeys.

Through WE Connect Dubai, WE Boardroom and She Builds, the network aims to facilitate business relationships, industry conversations and opportunities for greater visibility.

These formats are designed to create different networking environments, allowing entrepreneurs to participate in conversations relevant to their business needs and growth objectives.
